Jason Castro is a professor of Neuroscience at Bates College. He teaches classes on systems neuroscience, neuroinformatics, and animal behavior, and his research focuses on understanding the sense of smell. His work has been funded by the NSF and NIH, and has been covered in public media such as the LA Times and BBC. He enjoys writing for the popular press, and contributes regularly to Scientific American.
